COVID Staff 


District process of reporting positive COVID case

  • Call and email to NM Public Education Department (PED) COVID Rapid Response Hotline with info on person that tested positive
  • Call and email to NM Environmental Department, Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) with info on person that tested positive
  • Compile list of people who had close contact with the employee that tested positive for COVID
  • Human Resource sends blind copy email to people who were in close contact to inform them of COVID exposure and request that they go into self-quarantine for 14 days
  • Human Resource sends an email to all staff notifying them that a new positive COVID case has been reported in the District. No information is given about who the person is to protect the employee's privacy.


COVID Response Team

  • The COVID Response Team consists of the Acting Superintendent Randy Stickney (randy.stickney@zpsd.org), Director of Health Services Austin Clawson (austin.clawson@zpsd.org), and Director of Human Resources Chau Ly (chau.ly@zpsd.org). These three individuals are the official reporters of COVID cases for ZPSD. If you have questions about COVID, please contact anyone on this team.
